Find the Leak, Make It Safe, Fix the Cause
At a glance: Leaks and plumbing faults are the largest single group of jobs in our commercial maintenance records, close to a third of completed jobs. They range from emergency attendance to a pool plant room leak to blocked urinals, failed pipe seals, storage tank pipework, towel dryer waste pipes and air-conditioning condensate leaks.
When a leak is reported we attend, isolate it and make the area safe. Then we trace the cause and send a short written report with photos. If the permanent repair can be done there and then it is; if it needs materials, a shutdown or out-of-hours access, it is estimated separately and booked once approved.
Pool and plant room work is planned with the site team, because draining down or isolating a system affects the whole building. We test every repair before leaving and record it in the sign-off photos.
